Positive Behaviour System

“The pupils are proud of their school and their behaviour is exemplary.”

(ETI Report, Sept 2013)

Self-discipline is a crucial part of the Pastoral Care structure within the school and we pride ourselves on the promotion of a positive rewards system which encourages pupils to take responsibility for their actions. Each half term, the pupils who receive the most points, are recognised at assembly. At the end of every term there is a rewards afternoon for pupils with full attendance and/or top merit points. Pupils in the College are also regularly acknowledged for their achievements through:

  • Displays on the Plasma Screen
  • Year Group Assemblies
  • School Newsletter
  • Articles in the Local Press
  • Prize-giving ceremonies
  • Texts home
