St. Paul’s enjoys good relationships with local primary schools. Links have been established through:
Taster days - pupils from our partner primary schools visit the College and are involved in a range of diverse and exciting curricular activities early in the second term of P7.
Art and Drama projects involving children from feeder primary schools.
Language workshops for P6 and P7 students.
Active Science workshops.
Sporting competitions and skills days.
School visits by Head of Year and SENCO.
Rural Learning Partnership
St. Paul’s College plays an active role in the Rural Learning Partnership, a network of local education providers which includes the Northern Regional College, St. Mary’s College, Clady, St. Patrick’s College, Maghera and St.Colm’s College, Draperstown. The purpose of the partnership is to extend and enrich pupils’ curricular opportunities and to encourage staff to share good practice, resources and expertise.
