Sporting Success

The College prides itself on its sporting prowess. Physical education is an important aspect of school life and in St. Paul’s pupils are encouraged to fully engage in physical activity. Physical education is compulsory for all students and is available to pupils as an option at GCSE level. Personal qualities such as teamwork, commitment, leadership, confidence, communication and a sense of achievement are only a few of the positive features of any sporting involvement.

In conjunction with NEELB pupils have access to swimming programmes and awards such as the Bronze Medallion. We also make use of the recreational facilities in Kilrea, Ballymoney, Maghera, Magherafelt and Lavey. The sports available to pupils in the College include:

 Gaelic Football  Camogie  Hurling
 Soccer  Basketball  Volleyball
 Netball  Swimming  Gymnastics
 Dance  Cross-Country  Athletics
 Orienteering  Minor Games  Power Walking
